East Bay Community Energy, also known as EBCE, is the new local electricity supplier in Alameda County. EBCE will provide cleaner, greener energy at competitive rates to our customers. EBCE will reinvest earnings back into the community to create local green energy jobs, local programs, and clean power projects.
EBCE began serving commercial customers in June 2018 and residential customers in November 2018. As a result, most people noticed EBCE on their PG&E bill for the first time in December 2018. Many customers have questions about this change and EBCE would love to address them. Six coffee shops around the county have agreed to host an EBCE staff member who will be available to answer any questions you might have about your bill and EBCE.
Please come share a coffee or pastry with an EBCE staff member and clear up any questions about your electricity bill.
