SUNDAY ON THE TERRACE
SUNDAY ON THE TERRACE, a June 9 celebration of the newly beautifed deck at the Bellevue Club, will launch the summer party season at the club, To run from 2 pm to 5 pm, it will feature music, local artists, wine, hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction of trinkets, treasures and more.
Presented by the Foundation of the Bellevue Club, the event will also be an expression of gratitude to a member who recenly made a large donation to the Foundation, expressly to be used to make the terrace more beautiful and enjoyable for outdoor parties. The club is a favorite venue for weddings, parties and other celebrations. Admission is $45, of which $30 is tax deductible. Proceeds will benefit the Bellevue Club Foundation, headed by Dr. Lois Finch, which is dedicated to the preservation of the five-story Beaux Arts clubhouse on the shores of Lake Merritt. It is now included on the National Register of Historic Places.
