Renaissance Art Expert to Speak at the Cathedral of Christ the Light, Feb. 7
Dr. Barbara Mitchell will give a presentation on the Cathedral’s Christ in Majesty window on Thursday, February 7 at 7:30 pm. Dr. Mitchell has lectured on religion and art at many local churches and is a Cathedral docent. Complimentary reception following presentation. Admission: Free-will offering.
This event is part of the Lux Gloriosa series, celebrating the glorious light of the Cathedral of Christ the Light. This year is the fifth anniversary of the Cathedral, still the newest Catholic cathedral in the world.
The Cathedral of Christ the Light is located at 2121 Harrison Street, Oakland, on the shores of Lake Merritt.
