    Reimaging the Future presented by Mills College

    What does an equitable and intersectional anti-racist world look like? Come explore this question in a high-energy and visually compelling format. This experience is designed to help form a mental model for the future—envisioning intersectional racial, gender, religious equity through a range of systems. You will leave with a deeper understanding of how everyone benefits from an inclusive world as well as inspiration and hope for creating this future.

    Join Mills College for an invigorating PechaKucha inspired experience. What is PechaKucha? Visual storytelling—Imagine a TED Talk in only half the amount of time. You will hear from authors, academic scholars, social entrepreneurs, business leaders, and more. Each presentation will be followed by an audience-driven Q&A. Presentations will cover topics that include: 

    1. Racial Construction and Post White Supremacy
    2. Public Health 
    3. Education 
    4. Food Justice 
    5. Community Wealth Building 
    6. Corporate Business 
    7. Housing and Development  
    8. Environmental Justice 
    9. Restorative Justice

    Speakers include: 

    • Kusum Crimmel - Dissecting Whiteness, Creator, Facilitator, Healer, Writer, Visionary
    • Catrina Jaime -Assistant Adjunct Professor and Head of Public Health & Health Equity Program
    • June Grant - Founder and Design Principal of BlinkLAB Architecture
    • Sandra Kwak - CEO and Founder of 10 Power 
    • Reem Assil - CEO and Founder of Reems California 
    • Wendi Williams - Dean of the School of Education at Mills College 
    • Julian Lute - Strategic Advisor at Great Place to Work
