Ann Thrupp the Sustainability & Organic Development Manager at Fetzer/Bonterra Vineyards will lecture about how many wineries and vineyard companies in California are incorporating sustainable practices in vineyard and winery operations. Ann Thrupp will summarize the sustainability programs being integrated in the California wine industry, ''green'' marketing trends and examples from Fetzer Winery and Bonterra Vineyards, both of which are pioneers in developing sustainable and organic innovations. For over 20 years, Ann Thrupp has been professionally and personally engaged in ecological agriculture, natural resource management, environmental/agriculture policy and sustainable business. Previously, Ann worked with the EPA's Agriculture Initiative managing partnerships and grants to support sustainable farming. She has also worked as a consultant for Robert Mondavi Winery, Roots of Change Fund (formerly called Funders Agriculture Working Group), and various other organizations
