This is a hands-on workshop with laptops and sample data provided, covering QuickBooks techniques and processes tailored for Construction Subcontractors.
Learn job costing and the calculation of job cost multipliers, proper industry-specific data entry techniques, how to appropriately classify expenses, and more. We will demonstrate how to generate job cost reports, track estimates and change orders, calculate indirect cost multipliers and labor job costing, enter vendor bills and credit card statements.
Topics include creating estimates and change orders, customer job setup, calculating the indirect cost multiplier, cash flow management, customizing and analyzing financial reports, and the importance of bookkeeping data security.
Exercises include entering estimates, change orders, invoices, payroll data, job costing payroll spreadsheet data, credit card statements, bills, reviewing job cost reports, and more.
