Piccola Morte - Concert at The Cathedral of Christ the Light
Enjoy the beautiful music of acclaimed new Bay Area quintet Piccola Morte in The Cathedral of Christ the Light on the shores of Lake Merritt in Oakland at 8:00 pm on Saturday, September 21. In this program titled The Agony and the Ecstacy, the group will offer philosophical madrigals and expressionistic, lurid motets by the Franco-Flemish master Orlando di Lasso (ca. 1532-94) exploring the gray area between the secular and the sacred.
