Partners in Sight 5k Run

This is a local, community partnership event bringing together Lions Center for the Blind and the Lake Merritt Joggers and Striders (LMJS) for “guide running” around Oakland’s Lake Merritt. Who: Lake Merritt Joggers & Striders and Lions Center for the Blind and YOU!
When: Sunday, April 24^th, 2016 – 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (Race begins at 9am)
Where: Lake Merritt/Adams Point

If you are interested in guide running, there are two “How To” sessions you can attend at the Lions Center for the Blind (1722 Broadway) in Oakland. Sessions will be held on March 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and April 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.
 
If walking or running just isn’t your thing, they also need volunteers! Email mai_nguyen@lbcenter.org if you’re interested in volunteering.
