Oakland Symphony Chorus - Summer Sing-Ins
The Oakland Symphony Chorus celebrates the 20th Anniversary Edition of our annual Summer Sing-Ins starting Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Tonight ONLY we will be at the First Covenant Church, 4000 Redwood Road, Oakland.
Come sing-along to Requiem Masses by a collection of your favorite composers: Verdi, Faure', Brahms and Mozart. Experience the grandeur of Bach's B Minor Mass and choruses from his St. Matthew Passion. Also in this year's line-up is Haydn's Creation Mass.
July 24 features the Mozart Requiem, conducted by Dr. Buddy James, Assoc. Prof. of Music, Cal State East Bay.
