Oakland Symphony Chorus - Summer Sing-Ins
The Oakland Symphony Chorus celebrates the 20th Anniversary Edition of our annual Summer Sing-Ins starting Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at St. Paschal's Church at 3700 Dorisa Avenue, near the Oakland Zoo.
Come sing-along to Requiem Masses by a collection of your favorite composers: Verdi, Faure', Brahms and Mozart. Experience the grandeur of Bach's B Minor Mass and choruses from his St. Matthew Passion. Also in this year's line-up is Haydn's Creation Mass.
July 17 the series continues with the Faure’ Requiem & choruses from Bach’s St. Matthew Passion conducted by Michael Morgan, Music Director of the Oakland East Bay Symphony.
