Oakland Merchants' Leadership Forum- Business Event

This breakfast forum held by the Oakland Merchants' Leadership Forum will be on June 25th from 8AM-10AM at Oakland City Hall. This forum will include the two co-founders of CEO Real Talk: Kay Woods & Garnett Newcombe. CEO Real Talk shares their strategies, techniques, and challenges with women on how they sustained and grew their award-winning businesses. They offer mentoring services providing the support and steps it takes to be a successful owner that leads to long-term profitability. This forum will include a panel discussion on how significant entrepreneurship and job creation are to maintaining the recovery of our economy. The panel will include Karen King, the Executive Director from the Oakland Merchants' Leadership Forum, the Mayor, and the Deputy District Director of the San Francisco Small Business Administration. After the panel discussion, the ladies from CEO Real Talk will then discuss secrets to job creation & hiring the best workforce.
