Outdoor enthusiasts, mountaineers, climbers, hikers and weekend warriors are invited to train with the American Liver Foundation for the Liver Life Challenge Mount Shasta Climb, a two-day overnight endurance climb to the summit of the imposing 14,162-foot Mount Shasta, the second highest volcano in the continental US and a prominent peak in the Cascade Range.
The Liver Life Challenge Mount Shasta Climb is an endurance training and fundraising program. Team members raise funds for the American Liver Foundation while training for the thrill and challenge of a lifetime of climbing the grandest summit on the magnificent Mount Shasta.
Experienced climbers lead team training teaching basic mountaineering. Professional mountaineers lead the team to the summit. Your participation will bring much needed awareness and financial support to the needs of millions of Americans who are battling more than 100 different types of liver disease.
