    "Inside Oakland Breakfast Forum"

Come to "Inside Oakland Breakfast Forum" and hear from people who affect the policies and progress of the city in which we live and do business:

"Election Results: What Do They Mean for Oakland?"
with Alex Evans, president and founder of EMC Research
and Chris Heredia, reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle

    Friday, June 20, 2008
    8:30 - 10 a.m.
    Chamber Board Room

ALEX EVANS is President and co-founder of EMC Research. Over the past twenty years, Mr. Evans has conducted over two thousand public opinion studies throughout the United States. He has done survey research at every level of politics and government and for large and small corporations, government institutions, and universities. Mr. Evans is considered one of the finest analysts of public opinion in the nation and is frequently asked to speak on the subject at some of the country's top Universities.

CHRIS HEREDIA is a reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle. He covers Oakland City Hall and local issues working out of the paper's East Bay Bureau in Old Oakland. He's been a reporter for The Chronicle for nearly 11 years covering in that time a variety of beats in news and features. The paper's editors in late 2005 assigned Chris to cover Ron Dellums' widely watched return to Oakland and other happenings at City Hall. Chris is known for his critical eye, tough questions and including real people in his stories. He has written about Dellums' difficult dealings with the media, community frustration over the mayor's response to last summer's garbage hauler lockout as well as city officials' slow response to Oakland's public safety crisis. Chris is a native of the East Bay currently residing in downtown Oakland.

**Admission: Free to Chamber members; $10 for non-members.
**RSVP required by Wednesday, June 18th, 2008. RSVP to speterson@oaklandchamber.com or 510-874-4817.
