Inside Oakland

The Chamber kicks of our 2024 Inside Oakland series with Leigh Hanson, Chief of Staff to Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao. Ms. Hanson brings to Oakland significant experience in local government, representing big City Mayors and serving on leadership teams across the US; most recently as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Economic Development for Pittsburgh Mayor William Peduto. Her CV also includes significant experience in the philanthropic sector serving in key executive advisory and fundraising roles at GLIDE Foundation, the Heinz Endowments and at the Pittsburgh Foundation.
