Economic Development Forum: The Shops at Broadway: An In-Depth Look at the Coming Development on Broadway at 51st and Pleasant Valley

Property Development Centers (PDC), a subsidiary of Safeway Inc., will be giving a presentation on the redevelopment of the shopping center at 51^st & Broadway. As a result of numerous meetings with the city of Oakland and the various community groups, PDC has proudly responded to the needs and concerns of Oakland and its residents. PDC will be showcasing the project’s current application, proposed site plans, elevations, onsite and offsite improvements, and the proposed schedule for project approvals and construction. The current project architect – Oakland based JRDV Urban International, will highlight the updated renderings, designs, and a 3-dimensional fly through of the redeveloped shopping center.
