Economic Development Forum: Port of Oakland Strategic Outlook and Capital Program Status

Join us for the February Economic Development Forum with Jean Banker, the Principal Assistant to the Executive Director for the Port of Oakland.
 
The Port of Oakland is the fifth busiest port in the United States.  The Port handles about 99% of the containerized goods that move through the Northern California region.  The Port's other business lines include Oakland International Airport and 20 miles of commercial and public waterfront.  Together, the Port, along with its business partners, generates over 73,000 jobs across the region and is connected to nearly 827,000 jobs across the country.

Ms. Banker, in her current role as Principal Assistant to the Executive Director will provide an overview of the Port's strategic direction for the future and an update on the Port's Capital Improvement Program and status of its major projects.
