World’s Best Brain Sports
Did you know that ping-pong is the world’s best “brain sport”? Yes, playing ping-pong can reduce and possibly prevent dementia symptoms. That’s because the game, even when played at a slow pace, requires thinking, planning, and reacting all at once. Ping-pong also improves reflexes, balance and even sleep. Certified Senior Advisor and neuroscience enthusiast Linda Jacobson will give a fun talk about how ping-pong and a select few other physical activities help older adults. Then, we’ll play at a mini ping-pong table (optional)!
