Managing the Highs and Lows of Retirement
Monica is a UC Berkeley Graduate (’85) of School of Social Welfare. In 1989, she earned her California State License to practice psychotherapy. She is a bay area expert on family caregiver and aging issues. Monica is affiliated with Alta Bates Summit Medical Center - Geriatric Psychiatry Department and Certified as a gay-friendly business by the Lavender Seniors of the East Bay. She provides volunteer services to benefit Bay Area senior programs. In March 2009, Monica was an expert panelist and interviewed about family caregiver issues by 88.5 fm KQED’s Michael Krasney. In November 2007, the Orinda News featured her work in a front-page article about family care giving.
