As of July 1st, composting bins and services are available to all Oakland residences. An ambassador from Oakland Recycles will discuss (and demonstrate) Oakland's new compost program and answer your questions about trash, recycling and and how you fit into the compost cycle. Additionally, we will watch a short talk by Tristam Stuart on the big picture of global food waste. The video will be followed by a brief discussion.
