FREE Children's Faire
Hayward, CA--The Children's Faire brings together families with local organizations that provide services for young children, in celebration of community, childhood and health. The 7th annual Children's Faire: ''Meeting the needs of Children and Families'' will be held Saturday, May 30, 2009 on the parking lot of 4C's of Alameda County Hayward office, 22351 City Center Dr, Hayward, CA 94541. The purpose of the Children's Faire is to bring families together with organizations who provide services for young children and families, in celebration of community, childhood and health.
The Children's Faire offers an informative day of creating, exploring, dancing, silliness and serious fun for everyone in the family. Community leaders, local organizations and the community at large volunteer their time to provide information and resources. This year our focus is health such as Asthma Awareness, Family Finance Fitness, and the importance of Child Care.
Everything is FREE from the carnival games, prizes, face painting to the resources for families. Thanks to the participating organizations, and generous local sponsorship as well as volunteer efforts of dozens of community members. Everyone is welcome! The site is handicapped and stroller-accessible. Call 510.690.2148 for details or visit the 4C's website, www.4c-alameda.org, to download the flyer. A raffle to benefit local children & families will feature an array of items from gas cards, spa treatments to a round of golf.
Hosted by Community Child Care Coordinating Council (4C's) of Alameda County, a private non-profit 501(c)3 organization has been addressing and serving the needs of children, families and child care providers for over 36 years.
