Bocanova Hosts “Dine + Unwind” Dinner in Partnership
with the Oakland Restaurant Association
Proceeds from Evening Will Benefit Oakland’s Lighthouse Community Charter School
What: Jack London Square’s Pan-American restaurant, Bocanova, is hosting its January Supper Club with a slight twist and participating in the Oakland Restaurant Association’s “Dine & Unwind” restaurant series on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. This month’s dining series benefits the Oakland Lighthouse Community Charter School, and Bocanova will donate 15% of the dinner’s proceeds to the school.
Chef/Owner Rick Hackett has created a five-course, family-style menu featuring his ever-popular sustainable seafood dishes. The dinner is $72.00 per person, including wine flight pairings. Bocanova’s Sommelier Gerardo Acevedo and Wine Club Director David Fetcho will collaborate on wine flight pairings, highlighting the wines from Oakland’s Stage Left Cellars.

“Dine & Unwind” is a monthly restaurant series hosted by the Oakland Restaurant Association in partnership with The Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Visit Oakland. The series celebrates Oakland’s dynamic culinary scene by moving to a different venue each month and partnering with a local organization of the restaurant’s choice to donate a portion of the evening’s proceeds.
