The Dufwin Theater in downtown Oakland is opening its doors on Friday March 29 for a month-long pop-up art exhibition.
Join us that night for a reception from 6-9pm featuring paintings and photos by Bay Area artists that draw on themes of political, social and religious events. The reception will continue on First Fridays, April 4 from 6-9pm and on Saturday April 6 from 1-4pm. The receptions are free and open to the public. Food and drinks will be served during the event.
This show titled "Transitions: political, social and religious," encourages artists to showcase work based on their interpretations of current political, social and religious events.
“Transitions” will be on display until April 30 and by appointment.
This showcased is presented by ArtX Gallery, a group that organizes pop-up art exhibitions in the Bay Area.
