9/11/11 Project:: A National Requiem of Remembrance

The Oakland Symphony Chorus and the Oakland Civic Orchestra will offer a free, participatory concert of Mozart's Requiem at the Cathedral of Christ the Light, in Oakland, on 9/11/2011, at 5:30 pm to commemorate the ten year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Singers from around the Bay Area are invited to raise their voices with the Oakland Symphony Chorus (bring your own score) and all others are welcome to attend this free, inspirational event.
