8th Annual Sistahs Steppin' in Pride East Bay Dyke March & Festival

''Sistahs, as we define it, includes all women who recognize the necessity to come together from a space of Sistahood and Sistahlove...'' Afia Walking-Tree, co-founder Sistahs Steppin' in Pride illuminates the collective and individual creativity, strength, and accomplishments of East Bay lesbian, bisexual and queer women to reaffirm their beauty and sense of belonging. We invites you to join us as we march with pride along Lake Merritt to Snow Park, for an afternoon festival with entertainment, community, vendors, games, food, and fun! March: Gather at 11a at Astro Park @ corner of Grand Ave./Lakeshore Ave./MacArthur Blvd., Oakland. March @ NOON. Bring your friends, your drum (or borrow one of ours), and join us as we fill the streets with our voices and merry-making! Festival: 1pm – 5pm in Snow Park, 19th & Harrison Streets, Downtown Oakland.
