109th Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon

The Oakland Chamber's 109th Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, June 25 at the Oakland Marriott City Center. This year's meeting will recognize and celebrate the Chamber's members, the lifeblood of the organization, and registration will start at 11:15am and luncheon will run until 1:30pm at the Oakland Marriott City Center.
The luncheon presents members with an opportunity to celebrate a year of Chamber accomplishments, a chance to network with new and award-winning members, and a way to show support for the Chamber and our many programs. It will feature introductions of our incoming Board of Directors, as well as our new President & CEO, Barbara Leslie. Plus, a special keynote presentation by Bernard J.Tyson, Chairman & CEO, Kaiser Permanente.
The luncheon is also one of the major fundraising events of the year, providing the Chamber with funds to continue those programs and our strong advocacy for local business.

Tech Oakland Award - SUNGEVITY and its founder Danny Kennedy, the leader in the solar "Rooftop Revolution."
Heart of Oakland Award - KIM ARNONE, an attorney at the law firm of Katovich & Kassan Law Group, and co-chair of the Chamber's East Bay Women in Business Roundtable, is a committed Chamber and community advocate who is also changing the face of women in business throughout the Oakland metropolitan area.
Savor Oakland Award - CHARLIE HALLOWELL, the owner of three top Oakland restaurants - Pizzaiolo, Boot and Shoe and Penrose - has helped catapult Oakland to the forefront of the East Bay restaurant scene.
Leadership Oakland Alumni Award - SOFIA NAVARRO, the vice president of the Oakland Unity Council, is a driven, dedicated and rising star committed to families in the Fruitvale District and within the City of Oakland.
