DESCRIPTION:San Francisco Boys Chorus (SFBC) presents an eclectic program featuring Chinese and World music with traditional Chinese instruments\, at The Cathedral of Christ the Light on May 17.  This is a joint concert with the San Francisco Boys Chorus and the Great Wall Youth Orchestra of Laney College\, which issupported by the Purple Silk Music Education Foundation (PSMEF)\,Oakland's non-profit music education program for inner-city youth.\n\nAbout the East meets West performance\, SFBC's Artistic Director Ian Robertson says "It's going to be a very exciting and colorful collaboration gathering our two groups to perform traditional Western music alongside the sounds of the Chinese ensembles.
