DESCRIPTION:Join the movement and celebrate Genesys Works- Bay Area's 5th cohort of high school students breaking through barriers and entering the professional world at our signature annual event.\n\n\n\nThis inspirational student-led ceremony\, emceed by 2 OUSD students\, marks the culmination of a transformative 21st century skills training for 120 underserved high school students\, and the beginning of their journey on a meaningful year-long internship at a top Bay Area company.\n\n\n\nOver 500 guests including students\, alumni\, family members\, and change-makers in the business\, education\, and philanthropy community will come together to recognize the accomplishments of the Class of 2018 and witness the unveiling of our high school students' internship placements as they cross the stage.\n\n\n\nThis year\, in addition to our featured student speakers\, we are honored to welcome Kevin Hart\, SVP at Kaiser Permanente as our Keynote Speaker to discuss his breakthrough journey to become a top leader at one of DiversityInc's 2017 Top 50 Companies for Diversity.\n\n\n\nRSVP to secure your seat and be a part of the movement to create a more diverse workforce today.
