DESCRIPTION:Our guest speaker for our August WIB Lunch Series will be Irene Edwards\, Editor-in-Chief of Sunset Magazine. Irene Edwards was named editor of Sunset in October 2015. She was most recently executive editor of the digital shelter and lifestyle publication Lonny\, and special projects editor of Travel + Leisure in New York. From 2004 to 2008\, Edwards was executive editor of Sunset\, based out of Menlo Park\, California\, where she was instrumental in repositioning the 110-year-old brand for a contemporary audience. She directly oversaw the travel\, food\, home\, and garden departments and acted as a strong advocate for sustainability\, innovation\, and wellness-focused editorial.\n\n\n\nWe will have the opportunity to hear about not only her experience within the publication industry\, but some of the successes of Sunset Magazine.\n\n\n\n\n\nCome hear about Irene's journey and the transformation that Sunset Magazine has made over its many years in business.
