What is the Oakland Chamber Ambassador Committee?
Ambassadors are the "meet and greet" committee and act as volunteer liaisons between the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and its members. They also provide new member outreach and assist with member retention.
Ambassadors make solid and long-lasting business contacts through participation in the committee. Additional benefits of participation include:
- Provide higher visibility for your company / employer when working events with the Chamber
- Sharpen communication and marketing skills
- Increase overall knowledge of the Oakland business community
- Ambassadors of the month receive an invitation to the Chamber's Board of Directors lunch and have their photo and a article about them printed in the Oakland Business Review
