Join PEERS in our first annual gala fundraiser: Speak Easy, Speak Out: A Gala to End Mental Health Stigma on April 11, 2014, from 8pm to midnight! At this 21 and over event, you will: - Sip cocktails by St. George Spirits - Dance the night away to live music and a disc jockey - Be entranced by magical dance performances - Take your chances at casino tables and win dazzling prizes - Bid on amazing gifts through the silent auction All attendees will receive admission, 2 drink vouchers for the bar, passed hors d'oeuvres and a specialty dessert, and 1 set of chips for the game tables. 20 exclusive High-Roller VIP attendees will receive all of the above, plus valet parking, reserved seating, bottle service at the table, and an extra set of chips for the game tables. All donations are tax-deductible and will go to PEERS to help support people with mental health issues in our community. PEERS is a non-profit organization based in Oakland. We envision a world where people can freely choose among many recovery options that address the needs of the whole person. We see a future where people with mental health challenges are valued for their essential contributions to society.
